Energy as an Engine of Human Dignity

Jorge Miroslav Jara Salas is distinguished by a track record of excellence in the energy sector, where his technical expertise is matched by a deep commitment to social equity. Guided by a vision that transcends financial outcomes, he has positioned himself as an architect of solutions that view energy not merely as an end, but as a vital catalyst for human dignity and community development.
His dedication to social progress is reflected in the creation and management of programs designed to close inequality gaps in low-income communities. Through these initiatives, he not only builds essential infrastructure but also establishes self-management models that empower families to improve their quality of life, health, and education. His leadership is defined by an active presence in the field—working directly with local communities to ensure every project is sustainable, environmentally responsible, and capable of generating tangible, lasting social transformation.
This balance between senior management expertise and grassroots engagement makes him a well-rounded leader, equally comfortable in boardroom discussions and in collaborative work with local leaders developing strategies to shape a brighter future for vulnerable populations.
These initiatives are carried out through the FUNDACIÓN CRECER association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, protect, and guarantee the integral development of children and infants in vulnerable situations across Latin America. The foundation works to improve their quality of life through programs in social assistance, education, health, nutrition, rights protection, social inclusion, and family strengthening—always operating without profit, without discrimination, and in adherence to national laws and international conventions on children’s rights.
